Large Format Scanning Services

We do all types of large format document scanning from A3 size up to 36 inch wide.  Our large format scanning services can digitize documents such as architectural drawings, posters and blue prints.  We do our large format scanning on high quality Canon ImageFORMULA or WideTEK CL-MF scanners capable of scanning up to 1200 dpi.  

We don’t just rely on the large format scanner and software to do the scanning and editing.  After the scanning is completed, the images are moved to a secondary system and various image processing is conducted.  The processing includes removing any background noise, sharpening the lines or text for architectural drawings, and performing image enhancements on photos.

Our large format scanning services also conducts post processing to convert blueprints to normal black on white drawings.  We convert the blueprints to grayscale images, invert the image so the lines are black instead of white, and remove the background gray.  The resulting images are then processed similarly to the normal drawings.

The post processing is standard for our large format and blueprint scanning services and is included in the $1.00 per image cost.  

Our large format scanning services can also scan banners up to 36 inches in width and almost unlimited in length.  We have scanned banners up to 10 feet in length.  Our cost for that service is $0.50 per linear foot.
